Dogana is a coastal bathing area located near the old customs house structure of the port of Termini Imerese in Sicily. The beach features a predominantly pebbly shoreline with a sandy seabed. The surrounding area has minimal residential development and is situated in a zone with low anthropogenic pressure.

Termini Imerese, Palermo province, Sicily. The bathing area is near the old customs house (Dogana) of the port. Coordinates: 37.9908–13.6952 to 37.9904–13.6987. Area extends 300 meters.

Water Quality

Classification: Good (2019–2024). No bathing bans are in place. No short-duration pollution events have been recorded. No anomalous events have been reported in the past 8 years.

Risks

No cyanobacterial proliferation events reported. No macroalgae, phytoplankton, or potentially toxic species proliferation events reported.
