Iso Kaatro is the city's main and most popular bathing beach. It is a clear-water lake covering 2 km² with a maximum depth of approximately 14 metres. The beach features swimming cabins, two piers, and a diving tower. A water slide operates from 6 to 22 o'clock by pressing a button; water flows for approximately 6 minutes per activation. A shallow, fenced swimming area is provided at one end of the lake. Two beach volleyball courts are located on the upper terrace.
