Kalmarin ranta is a bathing beach located beside the southern mouth of Väätsy Canal on Lake Vesijärvi. The beach offers excellent opportunities for children's swimming and various water activities. It serves as a recreational hub with nearby sports facilities including tennis courts, beach volleyball, disc golf, and a fitness area. Annual market events are held in August.
