Kalmarsundsparken is a large bathing area in central Kalmar with a sandy beach and grass areas. The facility features a 180-metre wooden pier with a shallow bathing bay, a disabled access ramp, bathing steps, and lighting. Dogs are not permitted from 1 May to 31 August. Fires are not allowed at the beach. The Kalmarsundsleden hiking trail passes through the area, marked with orange blazes on trees and rocks.
