Kamp is a natural pebble beach located in Kaštel Gomilica within the Kaštela area of Croatia. The beach measures 300 metres in length and 30 metres in width along a strait coastline with moderate coastal slope. It experiences high bather density during the swimming season and is characterised by low vegetation consisting of grass and bush.

Water

Natural sea water body with an average temperature of 24.09°C during the season. Salinity ranges from 30.3 to 38.4 during the season. Underwater coastal slope is mild (less than 15 degrees). Tide amplitude is 27.4 centimetres. Prevailing wind direction is north-east.

Location

Located in Kaštel Gomilica, Kaštela, Croatia. Access is by asphalt road. No parking is available at the beach.

Facilities

Sea buoys, shower, bench. Floating safety lines are present at the beach front.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually from 2009 to 2025, with rolling 4-year assessment periods.

Water Quality

Water quality monitoring has been conducted annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year under both Croatian national regulations and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ. Multi-year assessment periods (4-year rolling assessments) have been completed from 2009–2012 through 2022–2025, each based on 40 samples. Quality classifications include excellent, good, sufficient, and poor categories.
