Kąpielisko Budziszewko

Budziszewko is a bathing beach on Lake Budziszewskie, a typical glacial lake in northwestern Poland. The lake is connected by the Mała Wełna river to neighbouring lakes and supports recreational water activities. The bathing area has a designated swimming zone and beach recreation area.

Lake Budziszewskie is a glacial lake with a surface area of 162 hectares, volume of 7,842,900 cubic metres, maximum depth of 14 metres, average depth of 4.8 metres, and a shoreline length of 10,025 metres. The total catchment area is 631 square kilometres with a direct catchment area of 18.2 square kilometres.

Location

Budziszewko, Obornicki County, Wielkopolskie Voivodeship, Poland. The bathing beach is located on Lake Budziszewskie.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, beach recreation and sports area, waste bins, toilet, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard on duty, ban on domestic animals, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

Season

1 July 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified as excellent for 2025 and 2024. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 CFU/100 ml for Escherichia coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for Enterococci. Cyanobacterial algal blooms have been recorded as reasons for unsuitable bathing water classifications in previous years (2021–2024). Recent 2025 monitoring shows suitable water quality with low bacterial counts.
