Krzyżowniki bathing beach is located on Lake Kierskie in the western part of Poznań. Lake Kierskie is a glacial ribbon lake with a surface area of 285.60 hectares and is the largest water reservoir in Poznań and one of the largest in Wielkopolska. The bathing area is designated within a strongly modified surface water body that is monitored. The surrounding catchment area is used as urban green spaces, recreational areas, and forests.
