Kąpielisko Miejskie is a public bathing area located in Rzeszów at Kwiatkowskiego Street. It is an excavation site fed by infiltration from an adjacent reservoir and a gate connected to the reservoir. The bathing area has a designated swimming zone in the water and a recreational beach area.

14 June 2025 to 14 September 2025. Operating hours: 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is insufficient. In 2024 it was sufficient, and in 2023 and 2022 it was good. Maximum permissible concentrations are Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml and enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. The most recent assessment on 29 August 2025 showed water suitable for bathing with E. coli at 200 CFU/100 ml and enterococci at 20 CFU/100 ml. A water quality assessment on 19 July 2024 showed water unsuitable for bathing due to E. coli at 7000 CFU/100 ml. A cyanobacteria bloom caused water to be unsuitable for bathing on 3 August 2022.

Risks

Cyanobacteria bloom occurred on 3 August 2022. Dry and hot summer conditions have led to reduced water levels. Runoff from adjacent construction sites may affect water quality.
