Świnoujście Uznam is a sea bathing beach located on the left bank of the Uznam area in Świnoujście, between the beach entrances from Nowowiejskiego Street and Powstańców Śląskich Street. The beach has a shoreline of 400 metres and is situated on the Baltic Sea. The bathing season runs from 21 June to 7 September, with opening hours from 10:00 to 17:00.

Water

Baltic Sea. The Baltic is a shallow shelf sea with a surface area of approximately 415,000 square kilometres and a water volume of 21,721 cubic kilometres. Average depth is 52 metres, with maximum depth of 459 metres.

Location

Świnoujście, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, on the left bank between beach entrances from Nowowiejskiego Street and Powstańców Śląskich Street.

Blue flag designation, designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, wheelchair accessible facilities, waste bins, toilet, shower, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard, information board, bathing regulations available.

Season

21 June 2025 to 7 September 2025. Opening hours 10:00 to 17:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is excellent. Monitoring shows consistent results with E. coli and Enterococci measured regularly throughout the bathing season. Maximum permitted concentrations are Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. In 2024, a cyanobacterial bloom was recorded on 27 August. Most recent measurements from 1 September 2025 show E. coli at 15 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci at 15 CFU/100 ml, classified as suitable for bathing.

Risks

Cyanobacterial bloom occurred on 27 August 2024. Elevated E. coli levels (1045 and 1071 CFU/100 ml) resulted in unsuitable water classification on 6 and 2 September 2021.
