The Central bathing beach in Ustronie Morskie is a clean, enclosed beach on the Baltic Sea with a shoreline of 79 metres. It is designated for swimming and monitored regularly for water quality. The beach is fenced from the land side and features a designated swimming zone in the water.

Location

Ustronie Morskie, West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Kołobrzeg County, Poland. The beach is managed by the Municipal Centre for Sport and Recreation in Ustronie Morskie, located at ul. Polna 3, 78-111 Ustronie Morskie.

Facilities

Enclosed area, designated swimming zone, water intake point, waste bins, toilet, changing rooms, lifeguard, pet animals prohibited, information board, bathing regulations available for consultation.

Season

16 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: Sufficient. Monitoring shows variable results with both suitable and unsuitable classifications across different test dates. Maximum permissible concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml; Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Recent testing on 21 August 2025 showed water suitable for bathing with E. coli at 179 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci at 5 CFU/100 ml.

Risks

Escherichia coli contamination has been identified as a pollution source on several dates, including 20 June 2024 and 7 August 2024, resulting in unsuitable water classifications.
