Chomęcice bathing beach is located on Lake Chomęcickie in the Greater Poland Voivodeship. The bathing zone has a shoreline of 40 meters. Water quality has been classified as excellent for 2025, with regular monitoring conducted throughout the swimming season. The beach is managed by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Centre in Komorniki.

Location

Chomęcice, Nad Jeziorem, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Poznań District. The beach is situated on Lake Chomęcickie with a 40-meter shoreline.

Facilities

Designated bathing zone, beach recreation and sports zone, designated grill/fire places, waste bins, toilets, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard, designated area for children, prohibition on domestic animals, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

Season

21 June 2025 to 31 August 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025: Excellent. Monitoring results show E. coli and enterococci levels well below permissible limits (E. coli maximum: 1000 CFU/100 ml; Enterococci maximum: 400 CFU/100 ml). Algal blooms were identified as a pollution source in previous years (2023, 2022).

Risks

Cyanobacterial algal blooms have occurred in previous seasons (recorded in 2023 and 2022).
