Niechorze western beach is a bathing area on the Baltic Sea with a 200-meter shoreline. The beach is equipped with public facilities and lifeguard stations spaced 100 meters apart, staffed by three lifeguards. In 2017, the beach received the international Blue Flag certification from the Foundation for Environmental Education, which certifies compliance with 27 criteria covering environmental information and education, environmental management, water quality, and safety.

Baltic Sea with a shoreline length of 200 meters.

Location

Niechorze, in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, Gryfice District, along Starowiejska Street to the east. Public toilets are located at access points on Eastern Street, Coastal Street, Pomeranian Street, Cracow Street, Forest Street, Old Town Street, Post Street, and at the lighthouse. The beach has waste bins and temporary food service facilities operate during summer.

Facilities

Lifeguard stations with 2.6-meter high towers, three lifeguards, rescue equipment, public toilets at eight access points, waste bins, temporary food vendors, designated swimming zone, Blue Flag marking, WOPR flag mast, information board, and ban on domestic animals.

Season

28 June 2025 to 31 August 2025.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent in 2025, good in 2024, excellent in 2023, excellent in 2022, good in 2021, and adequate in 2020. E. coli maximum permissible concentration: 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. Enterococci maximum permissible concentration: 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. All recent monitoring results from 2025 show water suitable for bathing.
