Bathing Beach No. 2 is located on Lake Ełckie in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The beach features a sandy bottom and a designated swimming zone. The water is classified as excellent quality with consistently good ecological status. No cyanobacteria blooms, macroalgae, or phytoplankton have been detected in the reservoir.

Water

Lake Ełckie. Shoreline length: 50 metres. High-calcium lake with significant catchment influence and stratification.

Location

Ełk, Kolbego street, Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship, Ełcki County. Organized by the Municipal Sports and Recreation Center in Ełk, located at ul. Piłsudskiego 29, 19-300 Ełk.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, pier/dock, water intake point, disabled access, waste bins, toilets, showers, changing rooms, lifeguard, children's bathing area, ban on domestic animals, information board, bathing regulations available for review.

Season

14 June 2025 – 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent (2025, 2024, 2023, 2022, 2021). All monitoring samples from 2025 show E. coli levels between 15–61 CFU/100 ml and enterococci between 4–8 CFU/100 ml, both well below the maximum permissible concentrations (E. coli: 1000 CFU/100 ml; enterococci: 400 CFU/100 ml). Water is not threatened by discharge from wastewater treatment plants, septic tanks, or other external contamination sources.
