Poland Lake 1 - Excellent

Bathing beach number 3 is located on the eastern shore of Lake Białe in Okuninka, a publicly accessible beach measuring 80 metres along the shoreline and extending 50 metres into the lake from the water's edge. The beach is monitored by lifeguards from the Water Rescue Association Polish Chapter, Chełm Division. Water quality has been classified as excellent in both 2025 and 2024.

Water

Lake Białe. The bathing zone extends 80 metres along the shoreline and 50 metres into the lake from the water's edge.

Location

Okuninka, Lubelskie Voivodeship, Włodawski District, on the eastern shore of Lake Białe. The beach is accessible to the public along the waterfront.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone, waste bins, toilets, changing rooms, WOPR flag mast, lifeguard, children's bathing area, pet prohibition, information board, bathing regulations available for inspection.

Season

28 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Opening hours: 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent in 2025 and 2024. Multiple monitoring results from 2021–2025 show water suitable for bathing. E. coli levels ranged from 1–179 CFU/100 ml, and enterococci levels ranged from 1–93 CFU/100 ml. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 CFU/100 ml for E. coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for enterococci.
