Lake Osiek is a natural water reservoir with a surface area of 538 hectares, a total shoreline length of 28,295 meters, and an average depth of 10 meters.

Location

Osiek, in Strzelecko-Drezdenecki County, Lubuskie Voivodeship. The bathing area is fenced and accessible to disabled visitors.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Unclassified for 2025, 2024, and 2023. Monitoring results from 2025 show all samples rated as suitable for bathing with E. coli levels ranging from 2–15 units and enterococci levels from 1–4 units. Maximum permissible concentrations are Escherichia coli: 1000 CFU/100 ml and enterococci: 400 CFU/100 ml. Potential sources of short-term microbiological contamination include nearby wastewater treatment plant failures, illegal sewage discharge, and illegally discarded waste. The risk of contamination is hypothetical and negligible.
