A bathing beach managed by the Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki Volunteer Water Rescue Service located on the Narew River. The beach is relatively small but clean, with a gently sloping bottom in the designated swimming area marked by red floats and buoys for non-swimmers. The area for experienced swimmers has a significant slope. Water quality is monitored regularly throughout the swimming season.

Water

The Narew River from Zegrzyński Reservoir to its mouth. A small to medium-sized river in an area subject to peat formation. The designated swimming area has a shoreline length of 40 metres.

Location

Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, Sukienna street, Mazovia region, Nowodworski county. The nearest town is Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki.

Facilities

Designated swimming zone with red floats and buoys, lifeguards, waste bins, WOPR flag mast, information board, bathing regulations available, ban on domestic animals.

Season

24 June 2024 to 1 September 2024. Operating hours: 10:00–18:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2023 was good. Most monitoring results show water suitable for bathing, with E. coli levels typically between 0–120 jtk(NPL)/100 ml and enterococci between 12–120 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for E. coli and 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for enterococci. One unsuitable result was recorded on 05/08/2022 due to elevated enterococci (1327 jtk(NPL)/100 ml).

Risks

Dangerous zones exist outside the designated swimming boundaries, particularly towards the banks on both sides up to the spurs. Strong currents are possible beyond the outer boundary of the marked swimming area. Absolute prohibition on remaining outside the designated swimming boundaries.
