A bathing beach located in Licheń Stary on the eastern shore of Lake Licheńskie, adjacent to Bosmanówka. The sandy beach is enclosed by piers on two sides and situated near recreational areas, restaurants, playgrounds, an outdoor gym, and water equipment rentals. Lake Licheńskie is characterized by high calcium content influenced by its watershed and is located within the protected Goplańsko-Kujawskie Landscape Protection Area.

Water

Lake Licheńskie. Shoreline length of 25 metres. The lake is subject to a quiet zone where only kayaks, pedal boats, and rowing boats are permitted.

Location

Licheń Stary, Konińska district, Greater Poland Voivodeship, Konin County. Direct access from a paid parking lot managed by the local fire department (OSP) in Licheń Stary. Paid toilets are available at the beach.

Designated swimming zone in water, recreational and sports zone on beach, pier/jetty, water equipment mooring capability, water intake point, disabled access, waste bins, toilet, showers, changing rooms, lifeguard, children's bathing area, children's play area on beach, bathing regulations available for review, information board.

Season

01 July 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours are 10:00 to 18:00.

Water Quality

Excellent water quality classification for 2025, 2024, 2023, and 2022. Water quality monitoring results show E. coli levels ranging from 0 to 108 jtk(NPL)/100 ml and Enterococcus levels from 0 to 61 jtk(NPL)/100 ml. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for E. coli and 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml for Enterococcus. Identified risks include cyanobacterial blooms (recorded in August 2025, August 2024, July and August 2023) and occasional dead fish in the bathing area (noted in 2023).

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms occurred in August 2025, August 2024, and July-August 2023, resulting in water unsuitable for bathing on those dates. Dead fish were observed in the bathing area in 2023.
