Water Quality

Maximum permissible concentrations: Escherichia coli 1000 CFU/100 ml, Enterococci 400 CFU/100 ml. Classification: excellent quality in 2025 and 2024. Current status (31 August 2025): water unsuitable for bathing due to cyanobacterial bloom. Multiple recent tests show unsuitable conditions (19 and 22 August 2025 with E. coli 15 and 10, Enterococci elevated). Prior tests in summer 2025 showed suitable conditions on 1 August (E. coli 742, Enterococci 370) and 18 July (E. coli 15, Enterococci 5).

Risks

Cyanobacterial bloom (zakwit sinic) identified as current reason for red flag warning.
