Rewal is a bathing beach on the Baltic Sea in the Gryfice district of West Pomeranian Province, Poland. The beach has a shoreline of 300 metres and is equipped with public facilities and lifeguard stations. In 2017, Rewal received the Blue Flag international eco-education certification from the FEE foundation, meeting 27 criteria covering environmental information, management, water quality, safety, and services. The beach consistently maintains excellent water quality standards.

Location

Rewal, West Pomeranian Province, Gryfice district, Poland. Public toilets are located at beach access points on Sikorskiego, Saperskiej, Klifowej, Szczecińskiej, and Brzozowej streets, and at the Health Centre. Waste containers are provided.

Facilities

Lifeguard stations spaced 100 metres apart with 2.6 metre high towers staffed by three lifeguards. Public toilets at multiple beach access points. Waste containers. Designated swimming zone. White flag zone marker. WOPR flag mast. Children's bathing area. Temporary food outlets in summer. Blue Flag certification. Information board. No domestic animals permitted.

Water Quality

Water quality classified as excellent in 2025, 2024, and 2023. Excellent quality in 2022, good quality in 2021, sufficient quality in 2020, 2019, 2018, and 2016, poor quality in 2017, and good quality in 2014. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 CFU/100 ml for Escherichia coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for Enterococci. Monitoring data from 2025 shows E. coli levels ranging from 1 to 77 CFU/100 ml and Enterococci from 1 to 18 CFU/100 ml.
