Dąbie is an inland bathing beach located on Lake Dąbie in Szczecin, Poland. The modernized facility features a sandy beach with a wide grass area and serves recreational purposes. The beach is equipped with a pier, volleyball courts, playgrounds, outdoor gym, bonfire areas, grilling spots, sun loungers, table tennis and chess tables, and water equipment rental. The facility is enclosed and has designated swimming zones.

1 June 2025 to 31 August 2025. Operating hours: 10:00 to 22:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification for 2025 is sufficient. Maximum permissible concentrations are 1000 CFU/100 ml for Escherichia coli and 400 CFU/100 ml for enterococci. Recent monitoring results from August 2025 show water suitable for bathing with E. coli levels at 242 and 98, and enterococci at 76 and 10 respectively. Historical data shows variable quality with periods of unsuitable water due to cyanobacteria blooms, bacterial contamination, and insufficient four-year water quality classification.

Risks

Cyanobacteria blooms were recorded in 2023, 2024, and 2022. Elevated E. coli and enterococci levels occurred in 2023 and 2024. Dead fish were observed in the Eastern Oder water channels that supply the bathing area in 2022. Water contamination was suspected in 2022.
