It benefits from natural protection to the west and east due to its slight arc shape, which provides partial protection from offshore waves. Currents on the beach remain moderate.

Location

Karreck Hir beach is situated at the western extremity of Kerlouan commune, near Pointe de Neiz Vran. Parking areas are available at the beach site.

Water classified as excellent quality in 2017. Historical data shows classification as excellent at the end of the 2013 season. Water quality monitoring conducted regularly with analysis of bacterial indicators including coliforms and Escherichia coli.
