Location

Karwia, Pomeranian Voivodeship, Puck County. Located at Beach Entrance 43 on Wojska Polskiego Street at the level of the beach facilities (szalety).

Facilities

Designated swimming zone in water, beach recreation and sports area, accessible for persons with disabilities, waste bins, toilets, lifeguard flag mast (WOPR), lifeguard on duty, prohibition on domestic animals, informational signboard, bathing regulations available for inspection.

Season

14 June 2025 to 7 September 2025. Operating hours: 09:00 to 17:00.

Water Quality

Water quality classification is excellent (2025). Monitoring shows E. coli and enterococci levels well below maximum permissible thresholds (E. coli: 1000 jtk(NPL)/100 ml; Enterococci: 400 jtk(NPL)/100 ml). Most recent measurements from 22 August 2025 show E. coli at 15 and enterococci at 1. Cyanobacterial blooms were identified as a pollution cause on specific dates in 2018 and 2019.

Risks

Cyanobacterial blooms occurred on multiple dates, resulting in water being unsuitable for bathing on 20 July 2018, 27 July 2018, 30 July 2018, 17 July 2018, 8 August 2019, and 21 July 2025.
