Κάστρο is a large historic fortress located on a spit of land near Lefkada town, accessible via a pedestrian floating bridge from the town center. The site contains a restored chapel, small museum covering over 800 years of history, former jail and monks' cells, and offers views over the port and toward Preveza; admission is €5 with free entry for children, and the museum closes at 3:30 PM.
