Katoro is a cultivated beach in Umag, Croatia, featuring a concrete structure surface with pebbled areas. The beach is 300 metres long and 60 metres wide, located on an indented coastline with a mild underwater slope. It is managed as a hotel beach by Plava laguna d.d. and holds Blue Flag status.

Annual monitoring conducted throughout the year with consistent sampling frequency of 10 samples per year.

Water Quality

Beach has been monitored annually with 10 samples per year and assessed in four-year periods with 40 samples each since 2009. Both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EC assessments show ratings of excellent, good, sufficient, and poor across the monitoring periods.
