Kingsand is on the south coast of Cornwall. It is a sand and shingle beach resort, approximately 200 metres wide, close to the village of Kingsand.

Risks

There is an emergency/storm overflow from the Kingsand pumping station, that discharges to the sea 75m southwest of the Environment Agency monitoring point. There is a further high level emergency/storm overflow from the Kingsand pumping station, that discharges to the beach 90m west of the Environment Agency monitoring point.
There is an emergency/storm overflow from the North Rock pumping station, that discharges to the sea 75m northeast of the Environment Agency monitoring point. The operation of the overflows can lead to a temporary drop in bathing water quality.
