The 'Hörnle', as the bathing beach is called by locals from Konstanz, is located at the end of Konstanz Bay near the Bodensee Stadium and offers a fantastic view of the Obersee and Überlinger See. In summer, it is the largest bathing beach on Lake Constance with over 50,000 square metres of sunbathing area and 600 metres of shoreline. The Hörnle features a family area with a sand/mud and playground area (climbing structures, balance ropes, monkey bar, play ship), as well as a trampoline (subject to a fee). Four beach volleyball courts, nine badminton courts, table tennis tables and chess playing fields are available.
