Lilla Köpenhamn and Östra Stranden form a shallow, child-friendly sandy beach approximately 5 km from central Copenhagen. The beach stretches nearly 4 km and features sand dunes. Parts of the beach are located within Hagöns nature reserve and offer opportunities for walking in the coastal forests behind the dunes. At the southern end, near the mouth of Fylleån, there is an official naturist bathing area.
