In the north of the area lies the attractive Lußhardtsee, bordered by forest and still used for gravel extraction. Its south beach invites swimmers every summer and is equally popular with locals and outside visitors. There is also a volleyball court available there (see also www.Kronau.de, section Leisure - Recreation).
