Kunda Ranna is a bathing water area located in Kunda town, Lääne-Virumaa county, Estonia. It is situated in Kunda Bay on the northern coast of Estonia. The bathing water profile was established in March 2011 and updated in May 2012 to comply with EU bathing water directive requirements.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified including wastewater treatment plants and discharge outlets, industrial facilities (including AS Kunda Nordic Tsement), and diffuse pollution from Kunda town. Potential cyanobacterial blooms, macroalgae, and phytoplankton growth are monitored.
