Monitoring conducted year-round with annual assessments and four-year rolling assessment periods from 2009 onwards.

Water Quality

Water quality has been monitored annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year (9 samples in 2009). Assessment periods show consistent monitoring with 40 samples per four-year cycle. Water quality classifications have been recorded as excellent, good, sufficient, and poor under both Croatian national regulation and EU Directive 2006/7/EZ standards.
