Two bathing beaches located in Saint-Martin-d'Ardèche on the Ardèche river, just downstream of the Ardèche Gorges. The Sauze beach is situated upstream of the canoe course debarkation point and experiences high visitor numbers with lifeguard posts and buoy lines. The Grain de Sel beach at the village of Saint-Martin is also heavily frequented and similarly equipped with rescue facilities and safety buoys. Both sites are popular for swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, and walking activities.
