Coastal bathing beach in a tidal marine environment with significant tidal ranges and currents. Located in the Bay of Saint-Malo.

Location

Dinard, Ille-et-Vilaine department, Brittany, France. The beach is located on the coast with exutories (discharge outlets) along the western side and at the Pointe du Moulinet.

Water Quality

Water quality classification history available from 2007 to 2017. Bacteriological analyses have shown periodic downgrading events. Episodic pollution degradation occurs from wastewater infrastructure, agricultural sources, and marine pollution. Macro-algae (ulves) and phytoplankton proliferation potential identified in the area.
