Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2020–2023). Wastewater is conveyed to a treatment plant managed by SAP srl, which is partially functional and equipped with a submarine outfall. Identified pollution sources include a submarine outfall for overflow/emergency discharge from the lift station (Lat 40.7535°N, Long 14.0244°E) and a submarine outfall for overflow discharge serving the sewer network (Lat 40.7574°N, Long 14.0259°E).
