The bathing area is located at the Camping les Arches on the Claduègne river in the western part of Saint-Jean-le-Centenier municipality in Ardèche, France. The water body was created in 1986 with the construction of a dam and was classified as a bathing site in 2012. The site is situated at the confluence of two natural regions characteristic of southern Ardèche: the Bas Vivarais and the Coiron. River Claduègne with an artificial water body created by a dam constructed in 1986. Catchment basin slope approximately 2.5%. Located in a rural and agricultural area.

Camping les Arches, Saint-Jean-le-Centenier (07), west of the commune. Accessible via RD458.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Type 1 profile, indicating water quality is sufficient, good, or excellent according to Directive 2006/7/CE based on simulation of control results from four bathing seasons. No temporary beach closures due to pollution have been recorded.
