La Colba at Porto Pitrosu is a pocket beach bathing area located at the mouth of the Rio Li Lucianeddi stream in Sardinia. The beach has a pebbly seabed and is situated immediately adjacent to the S. Reparata tourist settlement. The bathing water is classified as excellent quality. The beach extends across an area of 65.035 square kilometres.

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent. The bathing area is influenced by ports and coastal infrastructure. A wastewater pumping station is present in the artisanal zone of Santa Teresa Gallura through which the Rio Li Lucianeddi flows.

Risks

Short-term pollution events are under study with an appropriate modelling approach. Ports and coastal infrastructure identified as less important pressure sources.
