Water Quality

Measurement campaigns were conducted in July 2010 and October 2011 to assess pollution impacts.

Potential pollution sources include untreated wastewater discharges from pumping stations, stormwater runoff, and groundwater infiltration. Macroalgae proliferation potential is monitored. Wind conditions and rainfall influence pollution dynamics and water quality variability.
