La Rague beach consists of two coves oriented southwest to northeast, located along National Route 98, south of Raguette beach and north of La Rague harbor. The beach features sand and clear water, extending approximately 200 meters in length with a maximum width of 40 meters. The beach is cleaned daily using a sifting machine. Dogs, barbecues, and fires are prohibited.

Water

Mediterranean Sea bathing zone. The swimming area extends approximately 200 meters in length and 300 meters in width, delimited by spherical buoys. The beach has a surface area of 6,122 square meters and is characterized by clear water.

Location

La Rague is situated along National Route 98 in Mandelieu la Napoule. Access is via RN98. Parking is available. The beach is located south of Raguette beach and north of La Rague harbor. GPS coordinates: 43°31'06.47" N, 6°56'25.20" E.

Facilities

Toilets, showers, parking, emergency call point, seasonal beach facilities (paillote during summer season). A lifeguard station and swimming zone demarcation are present.

Water Quality

No knowledge of phytoplankton blooms on La Rague beach. Water quality is monitored by ARS (Regional Health Authority). Analytical monitoring data has been collected since 2013.

Risks

The current directly in front of the beach is almost null; any pollution will remain in the swimming zone until complete dilution. Potential pollution sources include the La Rague harbor and nearby sanitation network outlets.
