Val d'Auron is a recreational water body covering approximately 73 hectares located on the southern edge of Bourges in the Cher department, Centre Val de Loire region. The water body is fed by several rivers including the Auron, the Berry Canal, and the Rampenne. It is used for fishing, sailing, rowing, canoeing, kayaking, and other recreational activities. A new bathing area is being developed on the left bank of the water body, adjacent to a recently established leisure facility, representing the first purpose-built swimming area on the lake.
