Trémelin is a shallow inland lake located in the Iffendic municipality in Brittany, France, approximately 30 km west of Rennes. The lake covers 45 hectares within a 220-hectare forest domain and is the second most visited tourist site in Ille-et-Vilaine. The lake and surrounding heathland are designated as a Natura 2000 protected area. The lake supports multiple recreational uses including swimming, fishing, sailing, and water sports, with an on-site beach on the northern shore near the municipal campground and sailing school.
