The Magnoac Lake bathing site is located in the Hautes-Pyrénées department on the commune of Castelnau Magnoac at approximately 305 metres altitude. This artificial basin is part of a water management system serving agricultural and domestic purposes. The bathing site was developed as part of general amenities work undertaken at the lake in 2019. A vulnerability profile study was conducted in July 2020 to assess the suitability of opening the bathing site in accordance with European Directive 2006/7/CE.
