Lagoa e Cascata das Minas de Rio de Frades is a natural pool and waterfall fed by cold spring water, located near a former mining site accessed via the PR6 trail. Visitors reach the area on foot after parking in the nearby village, following trail markers rather than GPS directions through the final stretch. The site includes a mine entrance near the pool and offers no on-site facilities.
