Lanterna - Rt Zub is a partially cultivated rocky beach located in Tar-Vabriga on the Croatian coast. The beach is 350 metres long and 60 metres wide with a mild coastal slope and convex shape. Average sea temperature during the season is 24.59°C, and the beach experiences high bather density during the swimming season.

Adriatic Sea. Beach length 350 metres, beach width 60 metres. Tide amplitude 49.3 centimetres. Coastal slope mild (less than 15 degrees). Underwater coastal slope moderate (15 to 25 degrees). Salinity ranges from 34.8 to 39.4 during the season. Average sea temperature 24.59°C during the season. Prevailing wind from the north.

Tar-Vabriga; Lanterna. Accessible by asphalt road. Parking is not available.

Facilities

Restaurant, café bar, changing room, land sport facilities, trash cans. Floating safety lines are installed at the beach front. No boat docking available.

Season

Monitoring conducted annually with 10 samples per year from 2009 to 2025.

Water Quality

Monitoring has been conducted annually since 2009 with 10 samples per year. Final assessment periods (40 samples) are available from 2009–2012 through 2022–2025. Water quality classifications range from excellent to poor according to EU Directive 2006/7/EZ and Croatian regulations.
