Coastal marine bathing area. The beach is located on an intertidal zone (estran) with tidal range characteristics. Water experiences significant wave heights depending on swell and wind direction, particularly from southwest. Tidal currents vary with spring and neap tides.

Location

Le Conquet commune, Brittany region, France. The beach is accessible by aerial routes shown in IGN Geoportal imagery.

Water Quality

Bathing water quality is assessed for microbiological contamination, including Escherichia coli and enterococci indicators of fecal contamination. Monitoring includes evaluation of macro-waste, macro-algae, and phytoplankton. Water quality evaluation conducted according to EU Directive 2006/7/CE standards.
