Location

Centola, province of Salerno, Campania region. The municipality is located at Via Tasso, 10, CAP 84051 Centola (Sa).

Water Quality

Water quality classification: Excellent (2020–2023). Two wastewater treatment plants discharge into nearby rivers: a biological activated sludge treatment plant in Colla, Palinuro fraction, discharges into the Lambro River; another biological activated sludge treatment plant in Ruscello, San Severino fraction, discharges into the Mingardo River. No probable pollution sources are currently identified.
