Lac Taillefer is a bathing lake located within the Bois Français leisure base, covering 30,000 square meters with a length of 250 meters and width of 120 meters. The lake is fed by the groundwater accompanying the Isère river and was created in the late 1960s through the modification of an old Isère meander. The bathing area is reserved exclusively for swimming, with a gravel beach approximately 400 meters long on the northeastern shore. The lake has been classified as excellent water quality by the Rhône-Alpes Regional Health Agency, with low documented pollution risk.
