Plage des Arbousiers is a bathing beach located on Lake Saint-Cassien in the commune of Tanneron, within the Communauté de Communes du Pays de Fayence in the Var department. The beach profile was established in accordance with European Directive 2006/7/CE to assess water quality and identify potential pollution sources affecting swimmers.

Water Quality

Water quality classification and monitoring results are addressed through ARS (Regional Health Authority) quality classification. Complementary analyses were conducted by CEREG Territoires to evaluate water quality parameters.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include collective sewerage systems, individual sewerage systems from private residences and tourist establishments, stormwater drainage, agricultural activities, and industrial activities. These sources have been assessed for their potential impact on bathing water quality.
