Les Chevrets is a bathing beach located in the commune of Saint Coulomb in Brittany, between the Rance estuary and the Mont Saint Michel bay. The beach belongs to a small watershed of approximately 0.45 km² with no streams within its basin. Saint Coulomb is situated in the Ille-et-Vilaine department in the Bretagne region and is part of the Saint Malo agglomeration.

Location

Saint Coulomb, in the Ille-et-Vilaine department of Brittany, France, between the Rance estuary and the Mont Saint Michel bay. The commune is part of the Saint Malo agglomeration (Saint Malo Agglo) which comprises eighteen communes.

Water Quality

Type 1 bathing profile, indicating that water pollution risk is not established. The sewage treatment plant at Les Douets (capacity 3,500 equivalent inhabitants, discharge of 340 m³/day in winter and 525 m³/day in summer) discharges into the Douets stream, which flows to the Havre du Lupin, not directly to the bathing area.
