Location

Les Gets municipality. The lake is situated with a restaurant to the north of the beach and a city sports facility (city stade) to the south of the leisure base.

Facilities

Lifeguard surveillance and rescue services are organized on the lake. A restaurant operates on the north side of the beach.

Season

Summer season. Thermal monitoring of the bathing zone was conducted during the summer 2017 period.

Water Quality

Water quality is classified annually according to European Directive 2006/7/CE standards. Bacteriological and physical-chemical analyses have been conducted since 2012 by the regional health authority (ARS, Délégation de la Haute Savoie). Annual classification data for bathing waters are available from 2002 to 2017.

Risks

Potential pollution sources identified include non-collective and collective sanitation systems, surface runoff and stormwater, parking areas, agricultural activity, industrial activity, and presence of animals at bathing sites.
