Location

Toscolano Maderno, Brescia province, Lombardy, on Lake Garda. The competent authority is located at Largo Matteotti, 7, 25088 Toscolano Maderno.

Facilities

Two sanitary blocks, 16 changing cabins with maximum capacity of 300 persons, first aid station, lifeguard, restaurant, pizzeria, bar. No disabled toilet facilities. Animals not permitted.

Water Quality

Classification pending. Sewer system overflows identified as a source of pollution, including emergency discharges at surface and depth levels in the sewage collector. Rainwater runoff reaching the lake is also noted as a pressure. No cyanobacterial proliferation events or macroalgal proliferation events recorded in the previous four years.

Sewer system faults and emergency overflows. Rainwater leaching reaching the lake. Meteorological changes identified as pressures on water quality.
