Water Quality

Water quality classification is Excellent. Microbiological exceedances were recorded in August 2019 following moderate rainfall in the preceding 48 hours; these returned to acceptable levels within 72 hours. The area lacks a wastewater collection network.

Risks

Animal access is prohibited except in designated equipped areas not formally communicated by the local authority. The area experiences significant population increase during summer months. Potential pollution sources are nearby but do not directly affect the bathing water. No cyanobacterial proliferation has been identified.
